Delighted to share the wonderful news from Spout Press, that Locker Room Talk: Women in Private Spaces, edited by Margaret Aldrich and Michelle Filkins, has been named a finalist for the 2025 Minnesota Book Award in the Anthology category, alongside picks from HarperCollins, Graywolf, and the University of Minnesota Press. Through a prismatic series of essays, Locker Room Talk indexes the myriad shapes of women's behind-closed-doors encounters: from the mammogram suite to the BDSM dungeon to P!nk's backstage dressing rooms. The winners in each category—including General and Creative Nonfiction, Poetry, and YA Literature, among others—will be announced on April 22, 2025
